சாம்பசிவன் (The vibrant Shiva)

பதறாதவன், படைக்கு அஞ்சாதவன்
வில்லை ஏந்தாதவன்
வெட்டிச் சாய்ப்பவன்
ஆடாமல் ஆடி அண்டத்தை
புழுதியால் நிறைத்தவன்
புழுதியே சாம்பலாய்
உடல் முழுதும் தரித்தவன்
சங்கடங்கள் தீர்க்கவே
சடுதியில் வந்தான்
சாம்பசிவ மூர்த்தியாய்.

He neither panic nor fears for battles,
he does not carry a bow
but cuts everything to ground.
Without dancing, his dancing hazes
this entire universe with dust.
These dusted ashes are seen all over his body.
To solve my problems, he came immediately
in the vibrant form of Lord Shiva.
