அனைத்தும் அவனே (He is everything)

விதை விதைத்தேன்
விதையை விதைத்தவன் யாரோ?
நீர் ஊற்றினேன்
நீராக வந்தவன் யாரோ?
விதையும் எனதில்லை
நிலமும் எனதில்லை
நீரும் எனதில்லை
தோட்டக்காரனான என்னை
தோப்புக்கு சொந்தக்காரன் ஆக்கினான்.
ஆக்கியவன் அமைதியாக இருக்க
அண்டியவன் ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறான்.

I seeded the seed
but who is the one that created the seed?
I watered it
but who is the one that transpired as water?
I am neither the owner of the seed,
nor of the land, nor of the water.
But he made this gardener
as the garden’s owner.
Doing everything the creator is silent
but empty vessels are seen making noise.

விதைத்து, முளைத்து, பூத்து
காய்த்து, கனிந்து
கருணையுடன் சிரிக்க
அனைத்தும் அவனே என்றுணர்ந்தேன்.

After the process of seeding, sprouting,
flowering, fruiting and ripening
the plant smiled with love,
which made me realize ‘the one’ in everything

இயற்கையின் மலர்ச்சியில்
இறைவனின் சிரிப்பைக் கண்டேன்.

In nature’s blossoming,
I was able to see the god’s smile
