புள்ளி கோடாகி
கோடு எழுத்தாகி
எழுத்து சொல்லாகி
சொல் சொற்றொடராகி
சொற்றொடர் பக்கங்களாகி
பக்கங்கள் புத்தகமாகி
அப்பப்பா! எத்தனை எத்தனை
உருமாற்றம்! ஆனால்,
கரு ஏனோ மாறுவதே இல்லை.
வெள்ளைத் தாளை தான் சொன்னேன்.

line became a letter
letter became a word
word became a sentence
sentence became a book.
