சுயம் சோதி (Self illumination)

சுயம் சோதி பிரகாசிக்க!
சூழ்ந்திருந்த இருளும் மறைய!
மறைபொருளானது தெளிவாக!
தெளிந்ததோ எங்கும் வியாபிக்க!

With the Inner Self illuminating
and the outer darkness fading,
the one that cannot be seen is revealing,
with the omnipresent clarity pervading, everywhere.

தன் முயற்சியின்றி
தானாக விளைந்த ஒன்று
தரணி முழுதும் ஒளிபரப்பி
தன்னுள் தானாய் அடங்கியதே!

Without any self-effort,
The one which sprouted automatically,
Spread itself throughout the entire earth,
Finally containing within itself.
